The Elevator

From the trenches to the top floor, and back.

I have worked where things break and close to where decisions get made. The Elevator moves between both floors with you: advice for companies where money, operations and people collide, leadership work with teams and their managers, and mentoring for leaders and builders. Then we send it back down for the next person.

Top floor Investment banking, development finance, boardrooms and funders.
The trenches Payment rails, people ops, incidents at 2 am and teams across six countries.

Leadership

Leadership is not a title.

It is asking better questions, bringing people together and creating the conditions for others to thrive. I learned it building teams from zero, running critical systems and sitting next to the people who make the decisions.

People are the operating system Every process, platform and number runs on people. When leaders forget that, systems break in the places nobody is looking.
Better questions, out loud I ask the uncomfortable questions, usually with a smile, because you can’t fix what people are afraid to tell you is broken.
Leaders without the title Some of the most extraordinary leaders I’ve met aren’t CEOs. They are the ones building, questioning and keeping things running. I want them seen, heard and given opportunities.
Strategy you can execute Vision only matters when it lands on Monday. I connect strategy with execution, technology with business and leadership with people.

Konfío COO backup while scaling credit for Mexican SMEs Right hand of the COO, setting goals and operating model decisions, and contributing to margin improvement and a clear path to profitability.
SAI Consultores ~$350M FIBRA modeled from concept to execution Valuation and financial models for ten clients across industries; five became internal decision-making tools.

Mentoring

Mentoring for the people who hold it all up

A thinking partner who has sat in the operator’s chair and close to the top floor. Not coaching: twelve years of operating, leading and getting it wrong first, shared so you don’t have to learn it all alone.

Book a first conversation
🧭 Top floor For leaders Founders, directors and new executives who want someone honest to think with, outside their company. What people bring to our sessions
  • My team grew faster than my leadership did.
  • I just got promoted and nobody explained the job.
  • How do I say the uncomfortable thing without breaking trust?
  • Which fires are mine and which ones should I let go?
🛠 The trenches For builders Operators, ops, payments and People folks who keep everything running and want their work, and themselves, to grow. Especially the ones leading without the title. What people bring to our sessions
  • I do the work of a lead but nobody sees it.
  • How do I move from execution to strategy?
  • Payments, ops or People: where do I go next?
  • How do I ask for the role, the raise or the room?
One conversation A focused session on the decision or problem in front of you right now.
An ongoing thread Regular sessions over a few months while you grow into a new role or challenge.
